About Brewing TV
Brewing TV's mission is to cover the world of homebrewing through the magic of video. There are so many stories to be told, brews to be brewed, and people to profile … in other words, no shortage of segments and content to be shot. The homebrewing community has always been a strong one, whether it's your LHBS, a club in your city, you and some friends brewing in your kitchen on a weekend afternoon, or an online forum with rabid regulars. Brewing TV is a place where those different communities can connect and hear about what homebrewing has been, what it is, and where it is going. Brewing TV is a voice for homebrewing culture ... the "why," not the "how." If you want technical, you can always read a book! Seriously, read more books.

About Us
Jake Keeler - Co-host/Producer- Jake Keeler has been a homebrewer in earnest for the last 5 years, but spent a few weekends making sub-par batches back in his undergrad days (they were chugged with pride regardless). He's made a career in the homebrewing industry, and was recently elected onto the American Homebrewers Association Governing Committee. As a homebrewer, he believes that brewing beer should be whatever the individual wants it to be..no dogma. He can't stand the Grateful Dead though.
Michael Dawson - Co-host/Producer - Michael Dawson has been brewing beer since 1994. He has used a garbage bag for a fermenter, bought a chest freezer before he bought a car, he has bottles of lambic older than his daughter, loves lagers but can't quit ales, has brewed all-grain since '97 but still brews with malt extract, is a certified BJCP judge, and owns way too many beer glasses. His favorite beer changes frequently based on moment/day/weather/time/food/mood.
Chip Walton - Videographer/Producer - With Brewing TV, Chip (aka Texabamasota aka Peppercorn aka Ol' Youngsta) combines two of his life's passions: video production and homebrewing. Chip worked 10 years in the broadcast news industry as a newscast and field producer. His TV work led him to Austin, Texas where, after producing two companion pieces on the craft beer scene and local homebrewers, he became obsessed with the idea of homebrewing. He read Charlie Papazian's Joy of Homebrewing several times before committing to the starter kit. But once he brewed that first batch, he was hooked (in a good way). Chip's homebrewing philosophy is this: "Every batch should teach you something." Whether it's using a new piece of equipment, a different process, an intriguing ingredient, or working towards perfecting a beer you love to brew. Favorite concoctions from his first years as a homebrewer include: a lavender wit, peppercorn rye bock, several saisons, and a rum-soaked-craisin-infused strong ale.
