Madison, WI is a lot of things in one city: a state capital, a college town, a hot spot for restaurants -- and one of the best beer cities Brewing TV has ever seen.
Come along with us for a road trip to Madison. Meet some pro brewers, a man with a brewery plan, and a supercool homebrew club. We also hand over the reins to a father/son brew team for our Time to Brew segment. Grab a pint and let's go!

No dancing on camera! Ouch! :) Nice music around 15:00 Chip. I love me the Great Dane. such a quality and awesome place. I agree, Madison is a good beer place. I know you covered New Glarus in another episode but that is only about 15 min south of Madison (for those reading comments who might not know). Fun to see a father and son have such fun brewing together too. They're doing some creative stuff.
DonO, I gotta wonder how fast you're driving if you can get from Madison to New Glarus in only 15 minutes ;-) Not to nitpick, but just to give readers who might want to do this a realistic idea, let's say you're starting at Great Dane, featured in this video. From there it's 30 miles, and about 45-50 minutes (you have to get through the city, it's not all 55-65 mi/hr highway). Even if you're going from the far southwest part of Madison such that you're still technically in Madison, let's say from Quivey's Grove, it's still a bit more than 20 miles and easily a half-hour or more, depending on traffic.
But, yes, go visit New Glarus. The "new" brewery is simply beautiful and, of course, they put out lots of great beer. Just don't let ANYONE tell you that Spotted Cow (aka "Cudweiser") is their best beer. Not even close. Spotted Cow is what they brew to keep the revenue flowing from InBud/MillerCoorsLite drinkers to make it that much easier for them to produce the exceptionally good beers that viewers of this feature will want to drink.
Oops! Bad memory. I only did that drive once. I thought it was closer. Thanks for the correction Nowgohaveabeer.
Jakey dont litter.
No? Ok.
@Ah...Madison is just too damn beautiful, I felt the need to soil the place a bit....no, I picked it up! Way to keep my honest though.

Thanks for compiling this and posting it.
Raspekt from Chi-town.
What, no recipe posted for this episode?
Saw the Petosi brewery logo in the clips, have you thought about a visit there. That brewery has a story to tell too.
There I was with beer in mind then you hold on one particular photo (I wonder why) and now all I've got in my head is the image of a pink t-shirt....wow!
Glad you enjoyed the photos I provided for them :-)
